About  Jeremy HURREN

 Jeremy Hurren was born in London and educated in England.  After qualifying as a doctor 1987 he was inspired to pursue a career in Plastic Surgery by both the impressive results of the surgery and the creative artistic nature of the work. 

He is married with three young sons.  He has always loved the sea and is delighted to have settled in Hampshire as a Consultant Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeon.

Training
Following training to registrar level in breast, gastrointestinal, urological, orthopaedic and cardiac surgery Jeremy Hurren passed the Fellowship examinations for the Royal College of Surgeons of England and was made a Fellow (FRCS).  He decided to specialise in Plastic Surgery.  His training has been conducted at the nationally recognised centres in Salisbury (Odstock), Cambridge (Addenbrooke’s),  Norwich,  London and Paris.  He passed the national Plastic Surgery exams (FRCS Plast) at first attempt and was entered on the General Medical Council list of specialist Plastic surgeons.

After completing his plastic surgery training he was appointed as a Fellow to the breast surgery, sarcoma and melanoma units of the Royal Marsden Hospital in London.  Subsequently he was the oncoplastic breast fellow at the Institute Curie in Paris.  He has also spent two months studying Plastic Surgery in the United States visiting world famous centres in Houston, Texas and Atlanta, Georgia.

NHS Consultant
In 2000 he was appointed as a Consultant Plastic and Cancer surgeon at Queen Alexandra Hospital (Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust).  Jeremy Hurren also works privately in the Hampshire area as a plastic and cosmetic surgeon.

Cosmetic Surgeon
Breast enlargement,  reduction reshaping, abdominoplasty (tummy tuck), liposuction, facial plastic surgery, pinnaplasty (prominent ears) scars, moles.
Specialist Cancer Surgeon –
breast cancer especially reconstruction and plastic surgery for breast cancer, skin cancer especially melanoma and sarcoma.
